Makadi Water World is about forty minutes south of Hurghada and is the largest water park on this stretch of coast — around fifty slides across several zones, plus lazy rivers, wave pools and a shallow area for very small children.
The trip runs as a full day: transfer around half nine, the park from ten until five, and lunch and drinks included so nobody needs to carry money around. That inclusive structure is most of why it works so well with families.
The zoning is the useful part. Teenagers head for the steep drops and the racing slides, younger children stay in the shallow play structures, and there is enough shaded seating that adults who have no intention of going down anything can make a comfortable day of it.
